Kinda depends what the eagles get for Barrass, if they get two F1st then we can't compete anyway.I'm not against trading it for next year to get the picks for Chad.

Magpies could still be decent next year. Will be hungry again, Houston is an elite user of the ball off half back, allows Daicos to play midfield and if they get Membrey cheap gets Frampton nowhere near the forward line.It would be fun to have both Port and Pies F1, assuming our choices are off the table already
**** looks like Bolton will be one of the last trades right on the buzzer. Him and Smith. Any others I can’t think of??
Completely irrelevant if Chad chooses Freo. Just like it was irrelevant that we effectively offered pick 11 for Baker in the 10+11+18 for Shai/Baker proposal. Like it was irrelevant that we put offers to Geelong for Kelly etc etcKinda depends what the eagles get for Barrass, if they get two F1st then we can't compete anyway.
You do know that a team has to have picks for them to nominate in the first place?Once a player nominates a club the trade gets done, especially if they are out of contract LOL
I don't understand why this is difficult. Literally we have just had two perfect examples in Baker and Houston, have another one in Smith that gets done tomorrow. It doesn't matter if WC have picks 1 through 10 so long as we have our 2025 first and Warner picks us.Completely irrelevant if Chad chooses Freo. Yes, we'll have access to up to three first round picksYou do know that a team has to have picks for them to nominate in the first place?
Yeah this has been my thinking all trade period Snuff.I don't understand why this is difficult. Literally we have just had two perfect examples in Baker and Houston, have another one in Smith that gets done tomorrow. Why does it keep getting parroted.
Why not? Equates to 10 & 14 roughly. I'd also expect salary. 10 & 11 alone clearly isn't happening. This sits midway and allows Richmond to "win" the trade. Perfect really. We will not get 14 back.
What if WC agreeing to being exploited included agreement Richmond would not let a Bolton trade proceed that resulted in Freo holding a higher first round pick than WC?
Not likely, but not absolutely impossible.
I see your impatience has hit my levels. Though credit to you, I've given up explaining this now. Actually ridiculous.I don't understand why this is difficult. Update:Our bobcat operator is a massive west coast fan. He yelled "F#$%" super loudly, parked it and said he's going to the pub.
We haven't seen him since, so I think he's genuinely that furious about this trade.
Handled correctly and given the right role, Lukosius could be an absolute weapon.Maybe it’s cos I haven’t paid much attention to GC but I thought Lukosious was supposed to be a very good player
Obviously that's true. What I meant was they would on compromise on pick shuffles that result in us moving lower, not on us keeping 11. More currency, but later first pick. I.E They would agree to say 10 and 11 and two seconds back, but not 10 and 18 (which is more in value terms even on the new scale). But if Richmond stop it proceeding on that basis, we would have two picks higher than WC.

I reckon he could be away from the dew-filled micro stadium of GC but it remains to be seen.. He's certainly better than Marshall and they also lost Dixon.Maybe it’s cos I haven’t paid much attention to GC but I thought Lukosious was supposed to be a very good player
That is possible but they still undersold pick 3 by a f2 at a minimum I reckon. It's a bit harder for me to ignore all that and just poke fun at them. Too high probability they draft Allan and he is a gun.
10, 11, 18 for Bolton,14, salary paymentsCTD said the 10,11,18 offer for Baker was real but with something back.
At the rate shouldn’t we go 10,11,18 for Bolton+14+ whatever else?
I don’t think it gets done with either parties first offer and I can’t see them giving Bolton 14 for 10,11. That doesn’t even get close to a good deal for Richmond
Maybe it’s cos I haven’t paid much attention to GC but I thought Lukosious was supposed to be a very good player
Rioli the other Richmond trade yet to play out. Surely they are licking their lips at how easily GC is giving away picks in other trades.**** looks like Bolton will be one of the last trades right on the buzzer. Him and Smith. Any others I can’t think of??
Well it doesn't matter what we have because WC have access to two top 4 picks. We'll have enough for an OOC player like we had enough for JacksonI agree, but the thinking would be that Warner is not particularly set on either club and might make his choice based on which club has more draft capital to get the deal done with the least amount of fuss. Especially if WC are offering significantly more money.
Haha, I'm about to lose my politeness on it though, particularly when some new dude is laugh reacting my post...I see your impatience has hit my levels. Though credit to you, I've given up explaining this now. Actually ridiculous.
