Depends on price. If he requests a trade and says he wants to leave and never wants to play for Bombers again, there is a reduction in the price to acquire him. He is an elite midfielder who could easily play another 5 years. We would be stupid not to consider it if the price was such that we weren't selling our future.

I was at a lunch a few weeks a go and Matthew Lloyd was there and he said the club recruiters he has spoken to said clubs will try and get out of next year's draft and get more picks on this year's draft.

His contract ended this year so if spider eater says he got a year contract it will be at the end of next year - really a smart move by him , he has a good year his next contract could be worth a lot more plus multi year.

Helps him get the salary boost since Essendon dont have pay rises in line with the CBA in their existing contracts and we benefit by helping spend other victorian clubs salary cap.
