Stoked about Macrae, hopefully doesn’t cost too much. 3 time All Australian who’s just turned 30, and will be our best inside 50 kick instantly.

I actually have been led to believe that he's an ordinary kick, but high accumulator, won't get too excited, until I actually see it.

2 years ago when MacRae was still in the midfield rotation he averaged 30 touches and finished top 5 in the bnf, after a run of 3 AA seasons. Over the past 2 years his CBAs plummeted to 36% then 12%. Bevo obviously thinks he's cooked but I'm very bullish on him. We saw this year Treloars resurgence when he was actually given a crack on the ball.

Absolutely love the Macrae news.

He’s exactly what we need. Have had a feeling all year he would be a saint next year as he got pushed out of the dogs midfield and onto there forward flank, he’s to good not to be a starting mid.

Macrae does come with limitations, he’s not quick and is just an average ball user but make no mistake he instantly makes us a better team.

Steele you now have a mid that can win the contested ball alongside you.

If he at least replaces Crouch then we are back to square. We went backwards this year with no Crouch, at least if we get back to square then any improvements from our young mids like Pou and Garcia take us forwards!!
