Whatever You Say Ok GIF by Far Cry 6

Says someone sporting a Trump avatar (who is clearly a worldwide beacon of forgiveness of anyone he deems has dissed him, betrayed him or espoused support for anyone else and would never, ever hold a grudge) so I'll take okay as agreeing.

If Trump was a WC supporter, he would be claiming Barrass is very, very bad man who is a criminal woke degenerate and who should have 9 gun's pointing at him!

Okay.

You can only beat who you play and Hawthorn still went 14-9 and then 1-1 in the finals, all from a 0-5 start. Credit where it is due, winning 14 games out of 18 takes some doing. And they didn't shit the bed in their two finals.

Still, if you take out WC, Rich and North, they beat Collingwood, Carlton and Adelaide by 10 goals late in the year - and all 3 of those sides came home with a dry sail. The rest of their results were either narrow wins or losses.

Yep a pretty impressive year from them.

Certainly keen to see if they can back it up in 2025 as the opposition would bow have a strategy for hok ball and they have a slightly harder draw.

At the end of the trade period, we ran a poll asking which pick swap everyone would have preferred: Carlton or Hawthorn.

Having taken out the Hawthorn, Carlton, and surprisingly large number of Fremantle supporters who voted, the final tally seems to be Carlton 27, Hawthorn 155.

85% wanted the Hawks picks. Giddy up.

The Fremantle part of that is hardly surprising. Even in our darkest years, they're still obsessed.

I have been told TB's back issues have ramped up again and he is having problems with his hamstring tendons.

Hasn't run since he last played in about round 19 of last season.

This deal may have come at the perfect time.
As much as I would like to **** the Hawks, I really hope he doesn't have any issues with his back and gets another couple of great years out of his career. Such a quality bloke, I really hope for the best for him (perhaps a B&F in a wooden spoon year in 2025).

Hawks not without their own injury troubles, I hope he makes a full recovery.

That’s a shame for the young lad- really like the way he plays and he was an unexpected bonus for them last year covering for Mitchell Lewis

But one of the dangers for Hawthorn in 2025 was going to be the ability of their young players to replicate 2024, which includes availability given their lack of injuries during their late season run

I have the Hawks dropping outside the 8, no more honeymoon fixture like 2024.
Going to be tough start to 2025.
PA to drop out and FRE in 8 along with COLL unfortunately.

Good…goooooood!! Keep inflating those ego’s & getting ahead of yourselves..
Eeesh, that is taking bath water drinking to the next level.

I love these inside look docos as much as anyone, but only for successful teams. Release the film after they have won the flag

Not before a game has even been played.

Yep, not a nice injury for a young tall. Hopefully back on the park sooner rather than later. Him and Morris were outstanding for 1st year tall forwards.

I feel really dirty as it's never goods seeing a young player cruelled by injury. He looks a real talent too.

However, the Devil on the other shoulder has to admit to doing a fist pump and pounding a beer back in celebration

I'm going to be death riding those Bastards HARD..... Hopefully all the way to Hades.

Yeah I will cheer their lack of targets going i50 on game day but I’d still want to see him make a swift and full recovery and get back out there. Hopefully they rehab him well and give him the time he needs, last thing you want to see is a chronic injury in a kid.
