I don’t get why we are wasting train on spots on Durdin, Carroll and McMahon.

They have all been at the club long enough to know if they are worth the list spot or not. If yes then give them a spot.

They could keep fit away from the club and we could use the train on for players we don’t know about. Phillips, Hotton & Selwood could have been given an opportunity.

FFS Durdin has played 2 games in 5 years at the club and got injured again in both of those games.

I like that we are trying a few, ensure they get through pre season, and then deciding. I see a lot of positives in it. No need to commit straight away

Yeah I'm not sold on that.
We have Cripps as the ONLY big bodied mid now that Chugga has gone.
Sure Hewitt can pinch hit, but Walsh & Cerra are not big bodies and not even reliable bodies at present.
Lord and Wilson are still learning the craft and are not big bodies.
If we add Smith, we basically have a bunch of young skinny kids as backup in the midfield.
I think we'd be mental not to take Langford, but at this point I think I'd rather take Draper over Jagga as the next mid.
Nothing against Smith, he's an absolute gun, but we need a big body to develop support for Crippa.

I have more faith in Lord to step up, than waiting on Campos & Walker to develop, but that said I dont think they'll be far off.

I think we will. I suspect our coaches know its not the ideal gameplan for the modern game but we are hamstrung by personal. As we get the runners in, the gameplan will shift.

We'll be fine even if we miss Cerra for a stretch. Thats a quality midfield unit if they're healthy.

I don't know; crouching in the middle of ground with your foot sticking out, as if you have cramp, and not disposing of the ball is not going to provide us with a lot of scoring opportunities.
