I reckon we'd be keen to get Carroll, but I think he would prefer the Eagles due to the fact that there would be spots ready for the taking. With us, he would have to probably show he can impress from the wing and/or get in front of JOM/Banfield

It would make a lot more career sense for Carroll if he has the choice to choose West Coast.I reckon we'd be keen to get Carroll, but I think he would prefer the Eagles due to the fact that there would be spots ready for the taking. Will still make me sadIt would make a lot more career sense for Carroll if he has the choice to choose West Coast.
Knobel seems to be the board's new zero game Messiah. Just like all teams have whipping boys, supporter bases have to have high ceiling players who are only held back due to opportunity. He really did come on though late in the year.
Knobel is a must to keep. He can be anything if he finds consistency
I'd like to know how many of these have Snuffaluphagus fingerprints all over them?Knobel seems to be the board's new zero game Messiah. Just like all teams have whipping boys, supporter bases have to have high ceiling players who are only held back due to opportunity.
Players who have graced this spot recently have been Ethan Stanley, Luke Valente & Tom North.
While he might get out of it, being 4th in line is going to take a bit of effort to get a game. I would be moving clubs if I was him and the opportunity came up. He's only played 7 WAFL games in 2 years so really needs some more exposure.

This article suggests Ultan is Oz bound but make of that what you will.Have we heard anything more about either of the irish lads lately?
We could maybe be elevating Draper to list two Irish recruits?
Carroll if we want and can convince him
Kelm
Narkle (though appears a done deal?)
Fair bit of pressure on limited spots?
Thinking more and more we will be trading out one of our picks for an F1 or 2 if the individuals we want arent still on the Board.
So amazingly un-freo dockery to have so many choices!
Where does it suggest it?This article suggests Ultan is Oz bound but make of that what you will.
Sounds like he had a fair game on the weekend though.

"Once again, the power and pace of the Kelm clan was a major factor with Oz bound Ultan feeding the latter who pointed on the run after evading two tackles."Where does it suggest it?
Good move if so
Then upgrade Draper next year and bring in the other bloke.
Yeah we get a year to look at him, as long as we get one over this year then it works out IMOYou can only have one Irish player as a Category B rookie. Wouldn’t be against moving Kelm to Category A next year if he’s going well and bring in the other bloke though.

My point was we get a year to look at him if he comes over now and can judge next year on its meritsThe point is upgrading Draper doesn’t create a spot except for a Category B and not an Irishman unless we do something else with Kelm.
We’ll have to look at the NGA or guys from other sports to fill Draper’s spot. Kind of hope Whan and/or Hart don’t drop off that much tbh so hopefully another NGA kid comes along that we don’t know about yet.
Agree and no trade required. He’s got the flag, no brainer if he comes home and picks us with the family ties.Would love Starcevich.
He’d be perfect for our backline
The "Ultan of Swing" will amaze and bedazzle us all!So incomings are: Bolton, 3 ND picks, Narkle and Kelm?
Latest I can find is Irish reports dated 24 September saying theyre on their way?Have we heard anything more about either of the irish lads lately?
With reports we're not getting Narkle or Carroll anymore I actually think there's a slight chance we list both. We'd give up a Category A rookie list spot to do it but the club has certainly done stranger things. My point was we get a year to look at him if he comes over now and can judge next year on its merits
I'm hopeful we do it but there have been a couple times recently where its looked like he is coming and it doesn't happen

Mate, I'm still trying to convince people we were wrong for letting Nyhuis go because he was the next Dean Rampe!Knobel seems to be the board's new zero game Messiah. Just like all teams have whipping boys, supporter bases have to have high ceiling players who are only held back due to opportunity.
