Supercoach fan favourite Will Gould has quit playing footy.

Has now turned his attention to a punting career in the NFL.

Do they have loopholes in NFL fantasy?

With the sub + opening round coming back I reckon the game really needs to change. Both those things made this year not very enjoyable for me.

I think keep it as 22 players and make it best 20 every week, or make it 24 starting players and make it best 22.

Think they’ll do that as it’ll keep casual players involved for longer too. Many of my mates pretty much stopped playing after round 5 because of the byes.

Does that not just make it even harder?

If we all have 20 of 30 in our squads the same anyway, then everyone drops their worst two scores each week it will just come down to who picks the right VC/C each week. I see how it mitigates for injury/sub scores though.

I think they need to introduce more gameplay elements, that force the coach to make a choice. In EPL Fantasy the season I played there was a one off triple captain score for example.

Those that play other fantasy sports probably have other examples that could be added to SC. I hate how much effect injuries have on SC as much as the next person, but I'd rather they give us more options to differentiate our sides rather than bring every ones teams closer together.

Next year 100% I'm only starting Experienced players that don't have the early byes. It really stuffed up my team early on this year having players that had the early byes.

Might not be the solution but something needs to be done. Everyone on this board is probably in the top 5% of SuperCoach consumers. They can’t have people scoring 1,300 in round 5 because there’s a bye there.

I know a lot of casuals stopped caring pretty early this year due to a few of their guns missing and they drop massively in the rankings.

Does make it more interesting with strategy navigating the byes and sub, but they need to accommodate for people who can’t think about SuperCoach for more than an hour a week.

also, back in the day with the sub it always went to someone who wasn’t relevant. More and more senior players are getting the vest.

Maybe even make it best 21 so a sub can drop out?

I wish they'd go from 2 trades to 1 trade a week. Everyone blasts 3 trades a week early and everyone has near identical teams, then have a completed team by the byes and no trades left.

1 trade a week means teams will have to pick and miss rookies and premos and taking most,if not all of the season to complete their teams keeping people invested.

Making the boost allowing you to have 2 trades a week instead of 3, they'd become more valuable to keep until needed them then having everyone abuse them in the first few weeks too.
