Re: 2nd Test: Australia v Pakistan @ Sydney (Sun-Thu)

Are you ****ing serious? Katich has only been our best batsmen for 2 years since coming back to the team and has hit 99 and 98 in his last two test matches. As long as he keeps that form up he'll be in the side as long as wants.

**** off back to you fashion shows in milan Locky ya tit head

Clarke has been better. Who cares if he was making runs this summer? Where was he in the Ashes, was barely seen after the first test. In fact Watson had a better Ashes depite only playinmg half the tests! Barcelona not Milan by the way. Have an easy day tommorow so I'll watch the first session via a stream.

Good, should have been done after the Ashes. I am sorry but Katich won't be there in the next Ashes so lets move him on now!

You are an idiot. Yeah lets get rid of our #1 batsmen.

How do you know he wont be still there in 2013? Whats to say he wont still be making runs.

If anything if Hughes makes runs and Huss or North fails again one of those two will hopefully be shown the door.

StatsGuru says no. Katich has more runs in less matches.

Clarke is out no1 batsman. In 2013 Katich will be nudging 38, the balance of probabilities suggest he won't be there. I am hoping Hussey goes as well for Usman Khawaja as well, no complaints there.

Re: 2nd Test: Australia v Pakistan @ Sydney (Sun-Thu)

No. Poor performances by the players during the Ashes lost us the Ashes.

Caused by not giving players more experience. Inexperience cost us the Ashes, which in turn created poor performances, i.e. they work together. Johnson should have played earlier, ditto Bolliger. Our attack went pear shaped in clutch moments that is caused by not playing enough cricket at the highest level. For too long we played below par players when we could have been giving players experience

..Our batting cost us much more than our bowling did.

Name of some of these below par players. Warne? McGrath?

With Hughes in what would happen if he scored a ton in this game? Who would Katich replace then for Hobart?

Kasprowitz, Bichel, Muller, etc. You are giving tests to players that will never be world beaters. Going back to Gillespie who was past it, yeah he scored a 200 but lets be serious here he was poor with the ball for a while prior.

We scored 6 tons in the Ashes, our batting may have been below par on occassions but our inability to bowl well at Lords and at the Oval had as much to do with us losing the Ashes not to mention Cardiff!

Muller played 2 tests about a decade ago...

Kasprowicz and Bichel were decent players. Similar class to the likes of Siddle and Hilfenhaus.
