My opinion is while it sucked we blew a 2-0 lead in the Ashes the first aim of travelling there was to retain the Ashes.

We did that so mission accomplished in a way.

The fact that rain cost them a 3-2 win is actually funny to me.

I also think the fact we lost Lyon after 2 tests was a bigger factor in our performances than people think.

In a place like brisbane you have to remember they have no idea if when and where storm hits just chance one will form so when you see 3-40 mm with chance of a storm they dont mean be lot of rain they mean if that storm happens to hit right where you are will be hit by crazy amount of rain if it misses be almost none.

err team shit the bed under pressure vs india at home and england in 2019 when it was langer an paine leading things, those issues when we get counter attacked didn't go away under cummins as skipper but they sure didnt start with cummins, difference is under cummins we have still found ways to win more consistently than under langer/paine its basically same flawed side but better results generally.
