That wouldn't make them a good team, that would make us a bad team.Go the windies would love them to roll us
I couldn't give a stuff about our team so unlikeable. Would love them to blow through us and win by 30 runs. That wouldn't make them a good team, that would make us a bad team.
Hilarious how every one is bitching about Green but can’t name an alternate.
Lol they were talented AF teams with personalities. These guys are bland as ****, concede the most runs against tail enders of any country and play nice guys with everyone which makes it even more boring. Least likeable team I've seenI found the Waugh/Ponting sides incredibly unlikeable, they were arrogant, ugly winners. This side seems like a bunch of nice blokes who are just as successful and we don't have to put up with the blow ups on the field or hear the off field bollocks about mental disintegration and how they'll target players.
Plus they are a mates / boy teamLol they were talented AF teams with personalities. These guys are bland as *, concede the most runs against tail enders of any country and play nice guys with everyone which makes it even more boring. Least likeable team I've seen

uh oh.You've been told, house on a Windies win.
Anyone in Brisbane? How likely are we to get play today? Forecast looks bad but the weatherman is rarely right
Haha exactly and also test teams ****ing suck now lol other countries were way better in that era aswellNo where near as successful. Get back to us when they win 3 world cups in a row, win a series in England and India.
I'd quite like it for the novelty.
Ponting has had the biggest turn around in reputation since he has retired.
For me Glenn McGrath was the worse of the lot and still is.
Yep the competition is alot worse. Hides the fact that players that missed out in the glory years of 90s-00s like Love, Law, Hodge to name a few were actually way better than we give them credit for and would be 100 match Australian players with over 10000 runs. I'm sure of thatHaha exactly and also test teams ******* suck now lol other countries were way better in that era aswell
Depends on the calibre of the r/a, f/m seam bowler, dont it. Some are club or shield standard, others Clarke or Siddle ability. Very few are better. One is Josh Hazlewood. Two guys that should be able to guage the ability of a cricketer, Ricky Ponting and Brian Lara rate Hazlewood. Lara said he is as dangerous a bowler as the great Glenn McGrath because for the same reason Ponting says, his uncanny ability to relentlessly build pressure by landing the ball in the 6-8 metre zone of uncertainty, made even more difficult by his extra hi release point...A right arm fast medium seam bowler?
