Good discussion on the latest Inside North by Clarko, talking about how the game has moved away from rotating off when you need a spell, need to look back to the 70s and 80s when you rested forward. Mentioned he reckons realistically Cunners may never need to come off, he's dangerous enough that if he rests forward he can still get the rest he needs, but also pop up for a few goals etc.
I always laugh when we get the ball forward and there’s only poor ol cunners at the square trying to catch his breath 😂

happened a couple of times in the doggies praccy

Actually the wrong option. A One Two with McDonald would have seen LMac be able to carry and kick with little pressure as opposed to Perez having to kick under pressure. So yeah, really cute bit of play but the wrong play.

I’m inclined to agree with you Mav. However, the very fact that one of our players is capable of executing that sort of move successfully is heartening in itself. His “sleight of hand” pass to Goater in the Richmond game was, arguably, even more impressive. Josh ran into an open paddock on that occasion. Sheez probably thought Perez was also running into the open, as the defending Bulldog player was behind his back.

I reckon about the hardest thing to teach is spatial awareness, it's what makes good players great. Cunners and Pendlebury are classic examples. Sheez obviously has it and it's going to be fun watching him grow cause he's got the skills and tricks and to take full advantage of it.

Harry's dad reminds me of a celeb, and I can't put a name to the face.

I can see this one there...

The old Cunners Paddock tactic - not quite the same with Cunners darting back to goal…
He’d prefer a dairy farm paddock for sure.
