He’d normally clunk those marks no problem. He‘ll play Rd 1

He has also played 2 games with a history of injury concerns. We can at least give him a chance. I'm sure his late mother would be grateful.
Agree, overall I think it was a massive improvement on last season. Sure it got away from them in the 2nd and 3rd, but at no stage did they drop their chins and genuinely battled it out. Also kicked a decent score against a genuine flag contender. Bergman and Stevo looked good when they came on. Goater, Curtis, and Sheezel are very exciting just need to get more games under their belts. X has clearly built his tank to AFL standard. Not worried about Chom at all, hope he stays healthy and about getting AFL games into him. Excited to see Wardlaw when he's ready and who knows with Thomas. This is still a development year but we'll upset a few.I think Clarko and anyone with half a brain cell understands the fact we played a genuine top 4 club today with an extremely seasoned backline/talented talls across every line. Chom will be fine.
Larkey and Welsh both had 2 of the worst 1st 2 AFL senior games you'd ever see. Comben's debut alone has them covered.
Didn't click for him against the dogs but he's got a long path of calibration ahead to work out how to thrive at AFL level.
He got 4 quarters of football on the weekend and that was a win for a kid who has struggled to put together 30 games total at any level over the last 4 years.
Just needs continuity at AFL level.
Pretty telling how much better he was in the 4th Q when he clearly stopped overthinking. Few good marks, shot on goal. Just needs AFL level games.

I’d tell him he’s locked in for the next two yearsAs you are one that has never doubted his talent but has had concerns over his longevity. How are you feeling about his ability to stay on the park?
And for mine, it was a massive win to see him play consecutive games. I was a little confused by the stay-at-home approach to his game and do wonder whether that was by design.
He was better in the last when he got on the move. His greatest attributes are size ( 199cm) mobility, mongrel and he is a strong mark. Maj was a strong mark just took him years to believe in himself.
I've no concerns regarding Charlie and he will play rd1. I hope we tell him he's in for the first ten rounds, and take the pressure off him.
Preferably against Poort.Correct, looked nervous early and settled late.
A good last quarter and played 4 full quarters with no injury so its a good result.
Needs 10 straight.

I take on board the initial patronising hoopla, but I still say he deserves a chance, and you're right, we don't have too many other options, but I've always been about being creative. Curtis would be a great FF, with a few tall forwards around him he'd be a perfect foil with his ability overhead. Cunnington too.Settle down, I'm sure his late mother was a fine person who would be proud of how he's battled adversity. Its nothing personal.
The list management panel have clearly decided that we don't need any KPF depth this season, given that we could only find 2 spots for KPFs in a list of 44 or so players.
There's really no one, except at a stretch CCJ, keeping him accountable. And that's a problem.
