2011 Ashes was probably the most disappointing in my lifetime, at least in this series we haven't been blown away in our loss, just slight disappointment.

That was a very strong England side at their peak while we were rebuilding and had Hilfenhaus and a wayward Johnson learning his craft along with Siddle as the spearhead.

Cameos from Hauritz and Bollinger I mean what did you expect.

For England I’d imagine Anderson will come in for Robinson. I’d like to see Foakes come in, bat him at 3 and keep. Whether he replaces Bairstow or a bowler would depend on the conditions. But no3 is offering us nothing so far so can’t do any worse and allows the others to bat in their preferred spots.

Hopefully the long break allows Wood to back up.

You are speechless
Quite right, damicky. I'll take some time to process what has just transpired before posting my thoughts on the anonymous online text-based football discussion forum bigfooty.com. 🤗

I've got you covered, friend.

It didn't cost us the match (probably), but you simply cannot have that 3rd umpire wide call being accepted.

3rd umpire has no ability to call a wide call after the fact. It has NEVER happened in test match cricket.

So for it to be called in that circumstance is highly concerning. It sets a massive precedence - can a batsman demand a review? Do they "review every ball" afl goal style? Can a DRS be used (as crazy as that sounds, they would have used one there since it wasn't called a wide on field).

Mcdonald should be going ape shit about it post game

Well played Poms

The significant difference in this Test was the tin arsed luck on them bowling when it suited bolwing, and batting under clear skies.

..and their tin arsed Captain
