Hes shit. Hit a couple of kicks today, which stood out because he was given less opportunity to look stupid being the loose defender. Tagged out with his buddy McCan't. Did one nice multiple effort that eventually led to a goal and gave a nice fist pump.. methinks contract talk related. Relative to his tall defender mates he ****ing nailed it

That dropped mark certainly does sum up the impact of our senior players (along with the very dumb collision between Lmac and JZ).

He's a good defender but we shouldn't rely on him to kick or dispose reliably. The Hawks got it right today with their talls giving it off when they had the ball instead of trying to bite off the kick. A team that knows its limitations and tries to maximise its strengths will win games of footy.

This is probably for another thread but we have a real issue with players trying to be more than what they are.

It’s been such a great 4 years that even Corr gets plaudits from this board when he is a bit more than just a shit truck.

So sick of hearing how blokes like Young, Corr & Bonar aren’t our worse on the day and they get heaps of compliments about it.

Still shit.

Maybe we can get Webster, Lester & Long too to round off the best backline in the comp.

Has been good past 2 games before a few fumbles and silly errors. Maybe it's clicked to him that he needs to step up with logue out next year and mckay most likely gone

Thought he was pretty solid today. Seems to have improved without Logue and McKay in the side.
Everything just seems to work a lot better back there with just one of Logue or McKay.

I think that we'll do fine with Logue and Corr if McKay leaves. We have Goater (190cm) and Archer (187cm) who will both be getting stronger.

We still need more depth, obviously.

At least gives a shit, sat behind the goals yesterday as it wasn’t our home game, usually sit on the wing so don’t often get a close up watch on Apples. There was one time Buckets couldn’t spoil Marshall in the square (he was actually held out of the contest but Apples didn’t know this, no free of course) and Apples sprayed the shit out of him just because he was so desperate to win.

For a player of his experience and pay grade he did some mind boggling things in the first quarter.

He positioned himself for a switch of play, demanded a backwards kick from Phillips and then kicked it to an outnumber.

Moments later, he was drawn to a one on one between McDonald and Darling leaving his man then gifting an unnecessary goal.

Complete lack of defensive awareness.

He was very very good today. No need to whack him this week

Goater beginning to look fragile, went down again today, hope it want bad.
