Given the last time he was best 22 and playing good footy he got delisted, I don't think he will ever rest on his laurels.

It is genuinely frightening to think how good he and Florent and Blakey and the McCartins have been off basically half a season of working together. Get a whole pre-season of building their connection and cohesion into them and gee whiz.

same! ... i thought it was fair enough re-signing (rookie) fox if for no reason other than to give him a bit more of a go, but i really did think it would be one more season, mostly in the seconds, and that would be it
but here we are ... here he is!
whatever else you say about fox ... and clarke ... they've got friggin big hearts, to have both copped various knocks and criticism, to keep hanging in there ...
but geez, fox is all but 30 and he's close to the most improved player in the league, surely ...
