I'm not at all convinced impeachment is the way to get him out and I don't think it will actually get there.

This story has been rumbling away since July.

I've been watching the TV news here in Australia about this. Often with Trump they take a neutral view, but this time they're all saying Trump has a case to answer. You can spin it any way you like. He may get away with it, he's Teflon Don after all, but pretty much everyone who isn't a Trumpist can see he's acted illegally.

Well it didn’t take Trump long to engage in witness tampering, by ‘discouraging’ other whistleblowers bringing intelligence concerns to the notice of the Inspector General.
Today when addressing an audience of career foreign service officers, Trump labelling people as being “close to a spy," adding that in the old days spies were dealt with differently.
Understandably the audience found the remarks to be "shocking" and "eerie."
