Nonsense.

The transcript indicates Trump breaking the law by soliciting aid from a foreign government, asking for his political rival to be investigated.

You have no argument against this statement.

The best you can muster is "nah but why?"

The detail is unimportant, what matters now is that Pelosi has him boxed in.

He's got to get out of the box - she's got a structure around him now.

His typical play is to break the shackles by doing something more outrageous and distracting than whatever has him boxed in.

She's giving him rope with this, giving him all the rope in the world and betting he uses it to hang himself once and for all.

Whether it works is another matter, but he's not lawyerly enough in his approach to work his way through the gaps in the net like Clinton was in the late 90s.

And he's not got good people around him and even if he did he wouldn't listen to them

That said, he's a survivor, he's got a habit of getting out of jams.

But I strongly doubt Pelosi genuinely sees her win here him being impeached and it going all the way through the process and him being removed from office.

She just gave up the gavel with starting impeachment proceedings.

This might be the smoking gun but the general public that don't live politics don't give a shit about this. They have been here too many times and have stopped listening.

I'm still laughing at your cognitive dissonance re justifying the Steele Dossier.

"Well, they paid a third party to do the oppo research instead of doing it themselves, so it's all above board".

Lmao. Open both eyes man.
You asked. I explained. Fusion GPS is not a foreign principal. The Ukrainian government, however, is a foreign principal. Which part stumps you?

You have no actual argument, do you?

This might be the smoking gun but the general public that don't live politics don't give a s**t about this. They have been here too many times and have stopped listening.

Even if it is a Smoking Gun the Republican Senate won't convict.

Pelosi wants her win elsewhere.

There we are.

The Trumpets decide that even if Trump broke the law, it doesn't matter. That is the only argument remaining available to them.

When confronted with reality, they end up with "nah I don't care so it doesn't count".

It took how many days?

Do you think Biden did wrong?
Do you think bleaching email is illegal?
Do you think lying to the FISA courts is illegal?

Do you think Biden did wrong?
In what respect?

Do you think bleaching email is illegal?

Do you think lying to the FISA courts is illegal?
What does this have to do with the matter at hand?

You need to address the central point here: the transcript shows Trump soliciting aid from a foreign government, asking them to investigate a political rival. That is illegal.

What is your argument against that statement?

It is not an argument to just ignore it and say "what about this other stuff?" You are avoiding the issue.

This is jarring to watch you guys with not a leg to stand on.

You still have to go through the motions of replying though.

You can bleat all you want but Trump with be President until 2024.

How will you cope?

He might well be re-elected. I've never said otherwise.

The big variable, as ever, is whether the Democrats shoot themselves in the foot.

Now, back to the issue at hand, the transcript shows Trump soliciting aid from a foreign government, asking them to investigate a political rival. That is illegal.

What is your argument against that statement? Do you have one?

It's OK to say you don't. Just concede the point. Be honest instead of endlessly misdirecting.

How can I ignore it. You post it every 2nd post.

I just want to know where your moral equivalence is. You just made this obvious.

What do you mean "where my moral equivalence is"? That makes no sense.

Do you concede you have no argument on the matter at hand?

This is mind numbing.
