I think this clip best sums up the whole "time and place" argument to roast comedy.

The part where he said "bringing in a roast guy to a political rally a week before the election not such a great idea", was the key part for me and that was why so much angst among viewers. Also the other 'guests' weren't that funny.

Was talking to a guy at a bar in South Carolina last year, and after talking about hunting and fishing, his gun collection and our gun control, we got onto the Covid vaccines.

Now he wasn't going as far as others I met on the trip (through the South) about the safety of vaccines, but his objection to getting it was purely being told what to do, and he didn't like it. I have friends that sympathise with this view.

I do agree with the idea of 'having' to take it. At my age and with my health issues I was always going to take the 2 mandatory ones. I just hated being told my job security relied on having them

Having heart issues and hearing of the risk to heart patients I got a lot of advice - from medical practitioners - before I had the 2nd one
