Don't know if he gets this started IF he wins.

But it will be part of sociology studies for 1,000s of years if it happens.
Just imagine the political chatter worldwide and the endless political commentary on TV.
It'll be like "build the wall".

He has no intention of doing it, he just wants to complain about immigration and he's made up an unrealistic solution. Underneath it all, it's just an excuse to blame poor immigrants for the fact that the top 1% have hoarded all the wealth and want to continue to do so. And it's enough for racists and shallow thinkers to blame immigrants for their problems.

Doesn't take a genius to work out that they mean that Trump is the truely elected President, not that he holds the office of the President.
No they actually think Trump is still the president and is the reason why inflation is down, the stock market is at record highs.

And for what purpose do you believe this was done? Wasn’t the theory at the time it was to have totalitarian rule over us?

Kind of proven to not be the case hasn’t it?
It shouldn’t have been done at all, because anybody with half a decent immune system had nothing to worry about.

What’s shameful is the countless people who attempted to guilt good people for not wanting to give up their freedoms, and mysteriously used the term “selfish” despite it being the other way around. Expecting millions to give up their freedom because a select few were at risk is one of the most selfish things imaginable.

Years on and they still won’t admit they were wrong

Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety.

Past indicators suggest a red-run USA is better than a blue-run USA.
You are so WRONG!

Job growth better
Unemployment lower
Economy growth
Manufacturing jobs higher
Manufacturing investments higher

Of the 11 recessions that have occurred in the modern (post-World War II) era, 10 of them have occurred under Republican presidents.
Republican presidents often inherit strong economies and leave their successors with significantly weaker economies. For example, President George W. Bush inherited a strong economy from President Bill Clinton, and his presidency ended with the Great Recession. President Donald Trump inherited the longest continuous run of job creation in modern U.S. history from President Barack Obama but became the first president in the modern era to oversee net job losses during his term. There were 2.7 million fewer Americans employed when President Trump left office than at the beginning of his term.

I suspect this would solve a lot of his problems.

Read more, from sources that aren't whatever corner of the internet he's found himself finding things in.

The LNP has tricked people here in to think they're better economic managers despite pretty consistently being worse when it's actually looked at.

The rabbit hole is very deep and wide.

Select few lol.

People refusing to take a safe vaccine (that Trump supports) because they have the mentality of a toddler rebelling against their parents, for the sake of their own health, the performance of the healthcare system, and the lives of many millions who aren't as healthy, are the unselfish ones...righto.

The total homeless population in the US rose 12.1% from 2022 to 2023, reaching its highest point since at least 2007. -( from google )
This is a great sign….

That's what you got from my post?

Do you have tunnel logic?

Yep, it reached a low in 2016, then started going up again. It's strange that tax cuts for the rich and cutting services for poor people ended up in more homelessness. I mean every economist and expert told us it would happen, but Trump said it wouldn't.

And the right genetics. And the right circumstances.

Nobody WANTED to live a less free life. That wasn't the aim. That wasn't a celebrated feature.

Expecting millions to give up their freedom because a select few were at risk is one of the most selfish things imaginable.
A select few?

25 odd million people are "a select few"? Upper estimate is over 35 million people. The millions more lives that were saved through public health measures world wide are "a select few"?

Trump wanted to cut food stamps and meals for school children whilst giving tax cuts for the rich. If he gets in with a majority in the House I imagine he will try again. Fortunately, wiser heads prevailed when he was President.

The Trump administration has tried three times now to reduce funding for or limit access to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, or the food assistance program.

Grievance politics isn't about solutions. Indeed, it's the opposite.

It's about stoking an issue to keep your base riled up.

It used to be abortion for the Republicans until the dog caught the car, and it's the same with Dutton and his nuclear fantasies here.
But at some stage you need to offer a positive path and thats been Trumps biggest failure

So many incel-like middle managers in his sphere of influence who have found a way to hurt everyone they have held a grudge to get payback
