Agian, that's just your opinion. Reality is, they are generally young and educated. I'd assume more RW voters would be puritannical, particularly in the US bible belt.
By "educated" do you mean with useless arts degrees which get them poor paying jobs hence they blame capitalism for their own failures?

You obviously have trouble reading.
I said the three main issues that voters were concerned about and which led them to voting for Trump were (in order):
  1. They felt they were worse off under Biden and Harris did not inspire confidence that things would improve
  2. Illegal immigrants
  3. The creep of wokeness into their every day lives
Nothing to do with campaigning.

You can block your ears and pretend the above isn't true. That's your prerogative.

There are a myriad of articles. I've already posted a link. I'm not going to waste my time giving you more.
You posted a link with Dem operatives discussing wokeness among other things.

Nothing about polling on what the biggest issues were.

Most people struggle to define what woke is, full stop.

It's now a blanket term for stuff that people don't like and they want to maximise negative associations people will have.
:thumbsu:

It has negative vibes because it was made the catchword by politicians and their media. They put it into every hate sentence they spew out so of course the zombies get indoctrinated into feeling that way without ever really getting a clear handle on why they should hate someone or something they've never had actual contact with. Nor ever had their life affected by it.
I've been seeing Chinese propaganda against Taiwan and pro-China stuff by the KMT for over 30 years. They follow similar tactic of hammering a phrase or idea over and over again. They never relent, much like a constrictor, and pre-web a fully controlled media space. People are basically brainwashed into absurd beliefs even when dire predictions never came true. It is now deeply a part of their core belief systems.
The anti-woke culture war is fabricated divisive BS.

You'd have to ask MPM about the specific type of degree, he's the one saying they're rich snobs. Let me know if you two find consensus on them being poor or rich.
Inner cities are full of poor people and crime.
Inner cities are full of rich snobs.

Immigrants are mooching off welfare.
Immigrants are taking our jobs.

Dems are for the elites.
Trump's biggest achievements are tax cuts for the rich, and nominating pro-corporate, religious ideologues to the judiciary.

Dems are for the elites.
Dems are radical communists.

Seeing a pattern here with conservatives/Trump supporters in general.

and convicted felon is only part of it.

thats why trump wants his ny 34 guilty charges case dismissed so he hasnt got the word felon next to his name. hope the judge doesnt dismiss the case but there will be pressure in him and at least a special tax audit on him and all the judges (bar cannon) and smith prosecutors who charged him etc and ags willis, james, bragg

Yes and no, at least not in comparison to Republicans.

Again, perception is not necessarily reality.

Some post mortems from Dems or further left have rightly identified that they haven't done enough for the working class, but this isn't the same as conceding that the Republicans are better on this. They are certainly not. The Dems need to do more, to create a bigger gap with Republicans, and work out how to cut through and sell what they are doing.

Maybe Republicans had more effective messaging that was believed (easier to do when global inflation has been high) and have successfully painted themselves as for the battlers, with Dems for the elites, but this is not reflected in policy or actions.
:thumbsu:
I see it as the bolded. The GOP are heavyweight propagandists. Their media allies are in much more lockstep than the Dems. It is like the west's amateurs going up against the Soviet bloc's pros in the old Olympics. Very hard to break through their juggernaut without talent like Obama and B. Clinton.

Have you read up yet about his 1994 and 1998 Olympics when he was in his prime and considered a medal contender?

Bradbury was again regarded as a medal contender in the individual events. He came third in the heats of both races, posting times of 43.766 s and 1 m 33.108 s in each race. Neither of these times were fast enough to advance him to the quarterfinals and he came 19th and 21st out of 30 competitors respectively.

So he was the Port Adelaide of his sport ("highly rated" but stuffed up when it mattered) ? :p

and the excruciating irony will be that one of them will be found to have mis-valued one of their properties. Then the GOP remoras will start screaming for his/her head, unironically of course. That person will have to resign or maybe face a trial.

And the MAGA rubes will not catch it, and the GOP scum will get away with it. :madv1:

Because the world did not end last time and most of us don't spend our time worrying about things that exist only in our imagination.

Not quite, Monkey Boy. I certainly haven't imagined the team of idiots that Trump has appointed. But of course, you and others with your particular bias wilfully ignore how inappropriate those appointments are. I assume that's because you don't care given the negative outcomes that will arise are unlikely to affect you personally (and when they do, you'll just blame others - and Trump just loves this attitude of his followers).

Some would say you’re Xtremely good at missing the point.

Yes, you have imagined them.
They haven't even started in their job yet. Everything you think will happen is just guesswork (and poor at that).

No thats not quite what you said.

Post polling time and time again has said the 3 big issues were (in order):

1. cost of living
2, illegal migrants
3. wokeness and its creep into their lives.
So post up these polls that had woke in the top 3 issues time and time again.

Of course you're more than welcome to think thats why people voted Trump, just don't pretend that take is backed by any evidence.

Its interesting how the traditional 'facts don't care about your feelings crowd' has flipped in the Trump era. MAGA is the very definition of vibes and feels, any time actual facts are introduced they fold like a picnic table. You've presented quite a good example of this here.

So, track record, CV count for nothing?

These grifters and shysters and conspiracy theorists are suddenly going to have an epiphany and work for the greater good?

What drives your child-like naivety?

Kamala not qualified apparently but all Trump's picks.... "They haven't even started yet"

The mental gymnastics to justify the orange man's behaviour is laughable.

Look, I'm not going to waste my time.
There are myriads of articles on why the Democrats lost. The 3 items I mentioned have time and time again come up as the main reasons. I could point you to a 100 articles and you still wouldn't listen (and lets be honest, I doubt you would even read them)
