This thread is not about Covid, lockdowns, or vaccines. It is about Donald Trump. While Trump was in office during the pandemic and his response to Covid is relevant, there are pertinent threads for you to post your opinions on those things in.

Realising your life is at the tailing end of the bell curve will do that I guess. Especially for narcissists who actually ponder what might be said at their own eulogy.

I tend to think he is too weary to bother at the moment. I think it's also a big part of why he may be ceding some power to Eloi, he's not into or upto the daily grind of hate. He's also got a lot of money to bail him out of some of those debts coming due on the line. I think he thinks Musk will help him a lot there.

To be fair, Trump's praise of Carter and his expression of remorse for his passing was dignified and better than expected, albeit short and dismissive.

I think of all the former presidents alive during Trump's life as a political figure, he probably had the best relationship with Carter (ie. general ambivalence).

This isn't just a win for E. Jean Carroll, it's a win for all the survivors of SA.
