Is it just me or does the Aussies look like they are going through the motions just hoping for a wicket?

Now can this partnership be as productive as the 4th wicket partnership last summer here
Is it just me or does the Aussies look like they are going through the motions just hoping for a wicket?
Could be a repeat of the last time these teams met here with Laxman putting on a triple century partnership although this time with Tendulkar rather than Dravid
People might keep hailing Ponting's captaincy, but it is at times like this that he's continually found wanting
And on a batting track like this what captain wouldn't be found "wanting".
And on a batting track like this what captain wouldn't be found "wanting".
Has nothing to do with the track. If I have class bowlers like McGrath, Warne and Lee and have the privilege to just keep throwing them the ball and they'd get us the breakthrough, that's not good captaincy.
The fact is, he let things drift, didn't bowl Clark, didn't try anything. Just bowl Lee. Okay, Lee was good enough to win him a breakthrough, but it doesn't excuse his captaincy
It was the same at the WACA, he gave India extra runs with his poor management of his full time and part time bowlers. That ultimately proved costly
Has nothing to do with the track.
The situation at the WACA was due to the poor overrate.

WTF,
He bought Lee on, first over, he should have had Laxman out, it was perfect timing, its not Pontings fault Gilly dropped a sitter. It was perfect captaincy, realised that Lee could get reverse swing and he should have had a wicket in is first over.

Poor over rate, caused by his captaincy and the team selection that he wanted because they badly misread the pitchWTF,
