Sadistic side of me wants India to chase this down. Batting, bowling, selection, ruthlessness, scheduling, etc. Everything poor.

Why would you bring this muppet back on. Sit him on the pine and let Abbott take the field. Just a dumb bowler, would rather Green bowl tbh and he hasnt got a test wicket.

He revived Lyons career. Went from looking like being dropped when Wade was gloveman to becoming a very very very good bowler over a 2 year period.

Hahahaha! *GOLD*

Stop it my stomach hurts.

Drop Starc from starting 11 in SA if we go. Needs fire and passion, of which he has none this series.
Going through the motions again today.

like a footballer who needs a good rocket up them, send him back to the magoos and tell him to harden the f up.

Half of me hopes we lose this match just to force a clear out before the next Ashes (I don't want us to lose, but I feel like a win will allow complacency to persist in our match selection panel).

On our current ability, we just do not have enough quality for consistent performances. I'd like to see us rotate out the following just to see if we can get some more young blood in / see if other players can stand up:

- Jhye Richardson for Starc
- Mitch Swepson for Lyon
- Matt Renshaw / Alex Carey (or even Pierson or Inglis) for Wade

The Australian selection committee have been way to dependent on 30+ year olds rather than developing youngsters in the squad. We need to try and get youth into this team a bit, as giving Wade 30+ matches does nothing when he's already in the age of decline.

We again appear to be getting punished by a lack of a long-term coherent selection strategy. Compare that to England who realised they had a dearth of talent, so are blooding a bunch of boys in the hopes they strike gold a few times.
