His two " improvements " are what we desperately lack.

Just hope he turns into a 200 gamer that wins a flag with us and wasn't just " safe".

Seems a likeable kid.

That’s my worry too - fit wise, it really couldn’t be worse.

Agree he seems a good kid though, hopefully it works out for him.

Happy with the pick. Looks like the best available natural mid at our pick.

Said in his interview he has been told by Brad Scott they will focus on working on and improving his strengths and turning his strengths into weapons.

So sounds like we are aware of his lack of defensive game but would rather him work on and improve his offensive attributes to be his main point of difference. Don't expect him to work on his defensive game too much by the sounds of that haha.

I'm chuffed, absolutely the pick I wanted all along. I genuinely feel he will be the best player of the draft. I've never felt that about a first rounder of ours. Cannot wait to see him dominate the league. So many haters already, even inside our own walls. Funny how McGrath was the one who called him haha, it's usually Hepp ;)

Reminds me a tad of Lachie Whitfield with his build and running gait.

Looks to have had a shoulder op of some sort early this year going off his instagram.

His hands are huge and his shoulders are probably as broad as Wardlaw and Lloyd’s in that pic without obviously being as physically developed. Obscene physical potential with a couple of pre seasons of squats under his belt.

He did his collarbone early last year and came back earlier than he should have honestly. Hurt it trying to win a contested ball actually.

But the guys who have watched 3 minutes of highlights say that he's soft.

He played as a main on baller with Oakleigh 16s and was on track to do that again in 17s and then did that injury and came back only to play wing which is a decision made to protect h him a bit but he played so well there anyway that he started this year on the wing.

I’m hoping with some more strength and confidence he will be attacking those contests harder like he used to.

Look at the size of those mitts

Dodoro called him 188... stop the cap, Hobbs is 183

Rewatching him - big call but I think there is a little bit of danger about the way he bursts out of stoppage, moves similarly and kicks a bit like him 🤔
Welcome to the 🇬🇷 freak
