was vic metro u/16 captain, to not even getting picked this year. lit a bit of a fire in him to go on and win the chargers b&f

interesting that rcd & english missed u/16 champs and that's what put rockets up their arses to make it

we've picked a bunch of kids that really want it and have already faced some adversity in their fledgling careers
It sounds like his exclusion was more a fact of his lack of preseason and fitness rather than ability

Yeah, when I saw this guy I was not sure. The agility a possible question mark although he can move at times in the vision.

I must admit when I saw him I thought does he bring enough for AFL to make the grade over time. Not sure he has a left foot kick?

I been over the vision a few times, and thinking about this, in terms of roles I think he has a good chance. Given his attributes I think he arguably is more likely to be a winger who can go in the guts!!! He could be quite a handy player for us. Maybe a bit like Jordan Lewis only a right footer with a bit more pace.

I one looks at him as a pure contested inside mid one could easily question, yeah nah, does he bring enough to compete over time in the centre against the top liners. Who knows on that one anyway? But Ross actually could be a master stroke for RFC if he can player on a wing and when Cotch and/or Dusty rotate for a break or up forward he can compete in the guts as that bigger type with a bit of size and power. I noticed in some of his marking he uses his reach to. Look I think this could work.

I think RCD could play like a quarter back in the back half, offsetting Dusty's forward half work, drifting into the midfield and up forward while Ross I like as a wingman that can drift into the middle when needed. These players picked up could be an unbelievable combination complimenting each other and the rest of the team!!! Well done Tigers!!

Had the same thought!

Yeah a combination of most of his handballs setting players up into space and clearing the area, standing in the hole and managing to clunk the mark and his lack of spreads both ways from congestion are very similar traits to that of Cunnington. If he can improve his defensive side of his game I would think he is a good chance of playing a handful of games next season.
