MRP / Trib. Ablett found NOT GUILTY of intentional strike

Unless we've replaced our QC the challenge is fruitless. He's as incompetent as the clown that put him here in the first place.

I know, but you lot won't win the flag, so it's all about the draft picks then. I'll take our ones.
I never thought I'd see the day where I'd call you a reptile, but here we are.

And there's no point appealing, we have the most incompetent QC in the country. He'd probably find a way to make it two weeks.

What?

Ben Ihle is really good at what he does and got Selwood of a certain 1 week striking ban somehow. We are lucky to have him.

Have you always represented the club Ben?

He did a good job for us, don't see why you would be trashing him. We rarely go to the tribunal, especially with the old rules of a extra week if you were found guilty. As far as I know in recent memory he has represented us just the once.

Edit: Totally forgot about the Hawkins umpire contact one, plead guilty though which was a smart decision.

I'd be really, really careful with what I'd say about a qc on an Internet forum.
Let's not forget it's the barrister that does the work. The qc directs and presents.

"Gleeson agrees that Ablett spun to minimise contact, but questions whether Ablett could have avoided Shiel entirely. He says a player of Ablett's "nimble feet and dexterity" should be able to do that."

Was he supposed to avoid the contest altogether?

Gleason told Hawkins to accept one week or they’d increase it to two weeks, which stinks! Completely makes a mockery of ‘innocent until proved guilty’.
