PSD, like you did with Martin last year and we get Saad on a small wage :)
Essendon aren't afraid to let things go if they don't get what they want.
We both know PSD won’t happen. It’s a late pick or 8 and saad and a future second coming back. The way i see it take pick 18 ship it off to gws for cadwell. Saad for cadwell is a good deal.
i also think 18+27 for saad and 48 is a possibility

Yes we offered 8 but wanted change. It was rejected. Looks like you will now be offered 18 take it or leave it. When will Dodoro lean the world does not revolve around him.
18 isn't a first rounder?

Besides why are you replying to me? I was just trying to get one of the numerous (and I've tried quite a few) of the Blues posters screaming over the deal to actually agree to a bet on it.

Nobody will take me though. Weird.

Finally a blues fan with common sense, psd won’t happen as you said, Martin last year was an exception, a deal will get done, mid-late first or pick swaps, at the moment it’s just all posturing from all clubs.

OK, here we go, see if you can keep up...

PSD may be the only option, If Dodoro continues with he's antics and ideas of grandeur by next Wednesday, it’s possible and he’ll have brought it upon himself . Meanwhile let’s enjoy the circus.

What antics?

His actual quoted comment on the situation was;
Carlton aren't being unreasonable. We're discussing certain elements of that trade and I'm sure it'll get done"

So the circus is just you falling for the media clickbait.

As far as hypothetical 5 club trades go I think that’s a brilliant job. All clubs would feel satisfied. Port the smallest of losers IMO, but they seem to be happy to give up a second.

Brisbane sitting back with Essendon and Carlton calling them to swap picks and get to see who will sweeten the pot more.

If Essendon jump in to snag the pick swap away from us, then our offer for Saad just changes.
If it's currently 8 for Saad and 48 (values Saad at about pick 12 on points), then it changes to 8 and 51 for Saad and 19, which then values him at about pick 21.
Would seem silly for Essendon to cut their own nose off like that.

uhhhh not sure how you came to that conclusion there...Saad and now a first? Gees.

Chuck in Walsh and it’s a deal, see what I did there?

It's a simple equation.
If he's knocked back 8 for Saad and 48 (which is more than reasonable) and tries to block us or trump us from doing a pick swap to try and explore other ways of getting this deal done, then our offer changes to reflect that inability to be more flexible.
He blocks our moves, we alter our approach. Pretty simple. It's part of the game. Basically it's saying 'don't try to stop us from splitting our pick'.
Of course Dodoro won't like it. That's the point.
