Pick in the teens is fair for both parties. Carlton will split their first pick and on trade a pick 15 or so for Saad. In theory, easy. In practice....Dodo
one would think clubs would stop hunting our players.
It would be a silver lining for us having him in his role.

but no, they keep coming back.
perhaps the thinking is with Richarson in place things may be easier.

who knows.

So Essendon hand out a future second in the 30s which is worth a lot less than a current second rounder and we are now talking about giving them a pick in the teens? Martin was more highly valued than Saad and we offered a second rounder. If we can’t close this deal for our second rounder then bring back SOS

lets make a deal
You pay more than a 2nd rounder, SOS comes back
We get less than 1st and we sack Dodoro.

You gotta give some to get something. We are interested in Saad because he is an above average rebound defender, something we really need. Saad is a jet and is worthy of that pick.

I can't wait for the trade negotiations to be live streamed. I'd love to watch Dodo in his natural habitat.

He might have back up this time with his best mate sos

AFL should just rename the trade period after Dodoro

I don't understand this comment?

I clearly posted that he wants to stay at Essendon above all else and if he can't get his terms, then he wants to play for Carlton.

He lives in Brunswick so Im sure being able to drive ten minutes to training as opposed to Arden Street is appealing (unless he's being paid hundreds of thousands of dollars more to do so - see Jake Carlisle).
Where do you think Arden St is? It would be 10 mins further on a bike.

He was “playing better” because he was three years younger. Right.
Are you related to Dodoro? Seriously? There is more upside to a player who is three years younger.
As for a stats comparison

Disposals Marks Rebounds Tackles Clangers Cont Pos 1% Bounces Goal assists
GC 2017 16.59 3.55 3 2.27 1.95 4.55 3.41 4.23 .41

ESS 2020 18.88 2.75 4.31 2.06 1.94 4.94 3.44 .75 .19

If I was Carlton I would offer next year's second rounder and tell Dodoro to GAGF

I’m not sure you can even read. Go back and look at what I said in response to the post I, you know, quoted, or stop wasting my time.
