And if that remains unknown I’d guess first day back at training, maybe full team return date, when players are available for media, showing off the new preseason gear with the logo.
They won’t miss out on Christmas sales.
I think this is shortly before the draft so it would all line up to kick off the new season.

You could make a case that, in 1991, the SANFL was playing a more finesse styled game and often VFL suburban grounds were worse than SANFL grounds.
McIntosh may have been even better there.

Expect if we are to have the new logo for next year, it will want to be released before the fixture release date and we will want this logo to be used in all the other clubs release videos showing all the wacky ways they have copied what an american sports team have done.

I've always thought this was a downgrade on their old one. Does go back to that conversation about detail though. The realistic one looks better on it's own but I'm not sure it would look better on merch.
I think they’ll go with some version of stickman.
Their current crest is very vanilla. Couldn’t be many ppl walking around thinking ‘ah yes, the Christian cross, the saints, Christian symbols very good/very bad’. It’s a football club.
Some seem to hate it, but I like the Demons' logo change they made a few years back. As for the Saints' stickman, who thinks a stickman would strike fear into your opponents?
I don’t think any logo strikes fear into opponents.

Haven't followed this thread closely, was that leaked BS logo the one we are going with? I seriously hope not.

The fact that it wasn't released immediately after, and the reaction was largely negative, suggests that it may be in for some tweaks, or the leak was total bs imo

I suspect the club was absolutely shocked that the design Roo's kid came up with wasn't loved by everyone. They had to look at it again and ask themselves how they could fix the mess.

I don't think they'll fix anything. Let the initial outcry die down, then announce it with "We were already committed to it and couldn't change. The focus groups loved it."
For what it's worth, I kind of like it. The amendment someone did in here looks better, but I honestly don't think the original is as bad as most people are saying. Though obviously it's all subjective. Many of the options put forward as "better options" looked worse imo.
Surely it was an intentional leak, to gauge perception?
Although you'd think you'd just seek feedback openly: "here are our top 3 designs" and then go read all the social media about it.
