Autopsy Adelaide wins the prelim [WARNING: ZERO TOLERANCE TO TROLLING]

After suffering injury setbacks during the summer, Kolodjashnij returned to the senior fold for Geelong’s loss to Essendon in Round 8.

By early July he was the fourth best one-on-one defender in the competition, losing just 11 per cent of his duels.

That's nothing to take lightly

Yet can hardly win a one on one in a high pressure final. He has some positive attributes for sure but mental toughness and composure under real heat aint one of them.

People who say Scott has nothing to do with this must not have watched us since the first final v Fremantle in 2012. Part of his job is presenting a team that doesn't shit it self when the other team applies pressure in the first quarter. We have a slew of new players and we still lose the exact same way. We can't keep having these caveats in place that preclude us from having a good performance. We can't play after a bye, we can't play after a week of getting good press etc etc It's most definitely on him and the coaching staff if he can't present a team in a consistently strong headspace.

Like last week? When they were good? Scott obviously instructed them to start with less heart this week. "Start really poorly and we'll get them in a false sense of comfort ", do you realise how stupid you sound?

So now that you have had 3 seconds of self reflection on what a ******ed post you just made, let's hypothesise your idea.

Let's dump the coach and get some wizard in who says "hey boys let's start well this week, I know ur all content with losing finals, but I have this plan that if we start well our fans will appreciate it more"

You sir are a genius.

Sick of this near enough is good enough bullshit by Scott! We where building a great culture at this club until Scott decided to go the papering over the cracks method.
No doubt we'll do the some this trade period. Probably finish second again next year then wimp out come finals again! But as long as Scott's wining % is great he'll always get a contract extension right? I mean how can you not?

i will make it brief since i know you will all be hurting

just wanted to come over here and pay my respects too tom lonergan and andrew mackie both great players for a long long time and wonderful servants of your club and the game. wish them all the best in life after football

Good luck for tomorrow. On your wagon now. Just win and beat these ****ers next week.

Two good games justify another $600k+ Per year contract?

Wasn't as bad as this board makes him out to be. Hasn't been amazing but he's the scapegoat.

In the top third of our team.

Lifted when it mattered.

Has been played out of position by our idiot coach.

Yes give him 600 coz no one else on our list bar j. Selwood, danger Taylor Duncan or Hawkins (barely) deserves it.

Bring on trade period! Absolutely disgusting tonight we never looked like it. We have some serious list cloggers! Hawkins was a joke this finals series! 2 losing prelims in a row just not good enough when it counts. Get Gaz back down with stringer and if possible Devon smith and we will be back up again next year.

No one says that, and we have some, they're just all injured.

Then either trade in some good durable ones or sack the medical staff who cant get ours on the park. Sick of seeing our pathetic fwd pressure.

You cannot possibly blame Scott. At least 10 players that can play 1 good game out of 4. In fact anyone blaming Scott tonight are simply resorting to the easiest and most common person to blame through complete shutdown of reasonable thought in their mind. To those people all I have to say is. Composure, you need it and 70% of our players do.
Whose job is it to get those players to be more consistent?

Do you think it's just a huge coincidence that we have a bunch of players with this issue, or could there perhaps be a common factor at play?
