In Hately and ROC's defense I think they're both minding Beech at times, so they've got to play a bit tighter.

Hately spends all of his time facing and holding his opponent at the bounces/throwups. It must be instruction.

Probably just McPherson, unless we're planning to fly someone over as the 24th after this game.

Honesty, Strachan is having a great season. I gave up on him last year - but he's a fantastic "break glass" ruckman. Absolutely deserves a place on a list.

Worrell was everywhere that quarter in particular.

Very good marking, but somewhat slow of mind in deciding what to do with it.

If Strachan could just put on a bit of weight, he could be AFL level I reckon. Currently 95kilos. Needs 7 more kegs at least.

Don't agree on Murray. His jumping, marking, and spoiling is outstanding and he kicks it a mile. He just needs a bit more composure in general play.
Even as he is now, he could hold down a Talia-like pure negating spot in AFL.

Seems to be marshalling the troops a lot out there today, think he might be doing Wrighty's usual role.

Just bare in mind this is West Adelaide they are playing!.. Currently the bottom of the ladder team..

but some good signs.. really want to see pedlar get an AFL call up sooner rather than later.

I don't know if you watched his last SANFL game but his Guernsey was in tatters after he got in a scrap, maybe the property steward's been slack?

Pedlar is Sloane Mk2.

I struggle with Sloane as the comparison point for Pedlar. There is a dynamism to Luke's play that just isn't present with Sloane (Sam Berry on the other hand is definitely a Sloane/Hayes type).

He's more in the Dangerfield/Petracca mould, though even then, they are rather lazy comparisons. Maybe Luke Hodge might be the closest?

He's just feeling his way back from injury. I loved it when he was running through half forward and considered handballing to Frampton, but Frampton's told him to just kick the bloody goal...and he missed.
