Half time.

Norwood by a point.

There'd be a couple of hundred here, easily. They've even fired up the pie warmer.

How are Norwood getting their goals, from Marks inside 50 from stoppages inside 50, free kicks, or streaming through the midfield unmanned?
Ball scrubs forward, ends up in someone's hands who manufactures a kick.

Mostly just lots of people around the ball.

I'm starting to wonder if McAsey needs glasses cause he has absolutely whiffed on a few spoils this quarter.

His aerial judgement was supposedly one of his draft strengths. Wonder if he is occupied with positioning/body work with opponent, rather than going at the ball? How has Borlase looked? Over taking him on the pecking order? Butts did OK on Dixon last week, need to see more of Murray, but key backs are battling for spots.

I remember early career Hartigan going for marks/spoils and the ball hitting him in the face. Happened on a few occasions.

Need to get used to the SANFL umpiring again, with the 70:30 split against us. One particular umpire seems to be on a two second delay.
Feel that we are getting beaten on the outside with the run and carry.
Gollant has made a number of flies and has got his hand to them but they have not stuck. Some fumbling from our listed players - Hately, Newchurch for example.
Connected issue - James Matthews - how close is he to back?

Borlase has good size and strength, so he's not getting pushed around, but still needs to be a bit cleaner taking marks. Definitely has some tools to work with though
