Selfish by Murphy, went for the impossible goal from the boundary instead of centering it
Smart from newchurch to set up a mrphy goal..

One of these we have been trying to make a midfielder a forward & the other is a forward... so which one would AFC play as a forward.

I’m here at the game. Shocking umpiring in general. McAsey is basically being held in every contest

For those watching, is it as uncontested as the stats suggest? Over 400 disposals and only 49 tackles?

Are South not bothering to man up on Crouch?

And where is Cook? One touch for the half?

Crouch again goes back to the twos and is sitting at more than double the handballs to kicks. He cannot play any other way.
Maybe watch the game then, even the commentators were saying most of his handballs from the congestion were 10 -15 metre handballs to the advantage of the running outside players. I get it's popular to shitcan players but at least watch the game.

Cook went touchless first quarter. He played on the wing where not much play occurred because of the swirly conditions. Moved to half forward and got one touch. Just not his day.

Crouch is just being Crouch. Just knows how to find the ball. Had a couple of well weighted hand pass to a spare man and 4-5 hand passes to players under immediate danger.

Liked Taylor's game. Surprised he only had 7 touches, thought he got more than that.

Newchurch, very good. Should have gotten 4 goals had he collected the ball cleanly for his last shot on goal. He has a tendency to fumble the ball under perceived pressure. Hope he can overcome this.

Newchurch with 3 goals and 10 touches to the half, looks like he’s been impressive from the stats at least?
Yep looks really switched on today, easily his most complete game.

Luke Brown tackled high without the ball...play on - goal to South.

How’s McPherson playing?

His stats look good.

Not a like for like replacement but could he come in for Smith or even play on the wing?
Don't think he is suited as a wingman, but could replace Smith in defence.
