Well done Melbourne, the Eagles just failed to take their chances.
On a serious note, do you not think that after these seasons results, the Eagles are not a top 4 team and I don't think they are going to get better, in their present configuration. A massive shakeup of players, game plan, and attitudes is required ?.
Start now and see who plays for the jumper, those who fail, bye bye at the end of season.
I'm a big admirer of Priddis's career, but signing him on for next season, says to me that the powers who be at the Eagles think the team is in a good position. Are they deluded ?.

Kennedy and Naitanui are Eagles best 2 players. Take a multiple AA player and a top 3 player in their position out of Melbourne and they don't win tonight or v Collingwood

I have learned tonight that the free kick statistic is irrelevant and has no bearing whatsoever upon a game of football.
Tomorrow morning I am going to write to Gillon and Champion Data to suggest that this statistic is no longer tracked by the AFL, as it is obsolete.
I would like to thank the posters in this thread that opened my eyes to this matter.

We're a good shake to finish 11-11 100%. Can't get much more average than that.
Sharrod, Masten, Butler all played WAFL today. Redden presumably an AFL emergency. 4 x 100 gamers not getting a game. LeCras injured but barely holding his spot. Hill, Mackenzie, Jetta have all been dropped. That's 8 guys in the 25-30 bracket who have played 100+ games that are on the fringe. Time for new blood.

It's irrelevant. Jack Watts will never be equal to Kennedy. Its laughable you're even suggesting Melbourne missing Watts is equal to Kennedy being out. Jones is good for Melbourne but he is not as good a player as Naitanui I think everyone can agree on that even though they play different positions
