The umpire not paying the free to Bruce in the goal square was the worst decision you'll ever see. What was worse was David King trying to argue that Bruce needs to get better attracting the umpires to pay it.

It says a lot that it's considered an outrage when an away team gets more frees at Adelaide Oval.

There were plenty of bullshit calls/non-calls in that game. Non more so than that late non-call for the head high on Sinclair.

It was slog and the umpires had zilch impact on the result.

I find it hard to believe Port supporters are defending a pretty insipid performance on the umpires.

Had Port played with the desperation they showed in the last 3 mins for the entire game, we'd have been belted. For 3 qtrs we managed 3 goals and yet we hit the front in the last quarter.

I had money on Port 40+ so I'm probably a little more critical of their effort.

Umpires agreed, but no way St Kilda choked. I felt that they completely stifled our attacking game.

FWIW, Saints deserved to win even though we led for most of the game.
But then again, we deserved to beat West Coast, Geelong and possibly Richmond as well based on general play, and didn't because we weren't good enough.
So, yeah, I'm ok with winning this one.

Not with how we kicked at goal we didn't deserve to win. So many stupid decisions and brain fades that if were better we would've probably won by 3 goals easily! Gresham trying to kick stuoid fancy goals, playing on and taking advantage when a key forward could've had a set shot, seb Ross kicking off one step from 40 metres out, other opportunities that should've been goaled is what cost us. Bad kicking is bad football
