As for Breust as the sub? Finn Maguiness would have been better tactically. Take CJ off (managed) and send him to one of the guns or use his running ability. He has been training to play forward, back and tag?

Was the rain not forecast?
Maybe a sprinkle but it's been our driest Autumn, so wet weather is a bit surprising.

I dunno, chasing down defeceits succesfully builds belief and makes oppo edgy in future.
WE held on at the cattery and chased down today, its gotta be worth something between the ears.

Nah, it's not a pants pissers game.

Geelong in Geelong is a free hit because everyone expected us to lose.

Crawling over a bottom 4 team at home after being 40+ down is very different to beating a good team in a big final.

We'll see.
It was a good win in the end. Usually we would have got flogged after being so far down. The concern is once again Ken and the players seem to struggle with expectation. He needs to get these guys ready to play from the start. But all in all, these types of wins usually prove invaluable in terms of building belief amongst the group.

We did that last week.

Dont get fixated on the start, they dont give out 4pts at qtr time, its winning when its tight that counts, like Fly's Pies have done for a few years now.

Its pretty obvious that the AFL dont want blowouts as a tight finish creates drama, so find a way to win when its there to be won.

Gold Coast vs Richmond in the Karmichael Hunt game?
The Harmichael game. I probably enjoyed that more than this one, watching Hinkley's grandstanding makes it bitter sweet.

Saying that that was the first bit of cheering and emotion in a Port game for a while in my lounge room . Houston v Essendon last time.

We are 10-2 in games less than 2 goal margin since start of 2023.
