Is Sam Docherty a coward for not playing on Eddie Betts? Hurley is very good at what he does.

Hurley is a key defender who rarely plays on the best forwards and when he does he often gets destroyed (and sometimes even by the lesser key forwards, like Sinclair in that quarter). He prefers to make himself look good by playing loose or on first year, skinny key forwards. He's too mentally inept to do anything else and demand a challenge because he knows he'll get beaten and that will wreck his image.

I wouldn't have an issue with it, but Bombers fans regularly act like he's the GOAT and often lie about his performances to make him look good (ie. ITT saying that it was actually Hartley that Sinclair was beating when everyone knows it was Hurley).

He's a coward and by far the most overrated player in the game.

The same old modern day football problem for clubs that just aren't quite ready.
That is kicking scores, now Sydney look lively and almost in control, Essendon miss 2 or 3 shots at goal, and murder themselves, then a nice little 5 second break in the end of the quarter and bingo what could of happened didn't, , missed mark , that would have given them a lift and Sydney something to think about, but when your just not ready it doesn't happen, and a 13 point lead is a three kick lead, and Sydney can lock it down as they do, and hold it til the end. Not that easy to watch, but Bombers those misses probably killed your afternoon.

Heppell and Hurley have both come up short multiple times during important plays that quarter. Zaharakis only 1 effective disposal.

Those 3 need to lift, otherwise too much will be left up to youth and the role players.
