First time finalists and up against Sydney. Need to focus on the positives though, and to do that all we need to do is think about how badly the Demons must feel for not getting the opportunity to play finals.

It's a smashing, but the positive for Essendon is that the players attain finals experience.

They can only be better for learning what is required to be a top team in September.
