Considering how convincing the result was earlier in the year when Brisbane played Port it's not hard to see why. Also given the proven champions vs the upcomers...truly and fascinating game this one.

Tipping Richmond. Veterans come to the fore in prelims as well as if it is wet would heavily advantage the Tigers. Should be a good game but I'm tipping Richmond by 17 points. Tight affair but Richmond not to be headed after quarter time

Bookies are basically saying - we favour Richmond in a GF over Brisbane or Geelong, more than we favour Port in the same scenario. But, Port are favourite to win tonight's match.

Power defender Hartlett suggests Lynch’s emotions get the better of him on the field and indicated that plenty of people in the football world would love to see the Tigers beaten tonight so his season were to “come to an end”.

“He obviously gets caught up in the emotions of the game probably a bit more frequently than others do,” he said on FIVEaa.

“I guess others are able to control their instinct and reactions perhaps on their emotions a little bit better than what Tom does.

I agree got to love finals but preliminaries are something special (accept my team a few years ago) I think there's so much what if factor.

For tonights game I find it interesting getting other people's opinion on who they want to win. I can't understand why anyone outside of Richmond (or Adelaide) fans would want Richmond to win. The way I see it Richmonds had it's time in the sun time for a change could say the same with Geelong. But that's just my opinion. Port by 4.

Port got away with a pretty average first half v Geelong. Lucky for Port Tomohawk had a shocker.The second half was fantastic for Port Adelaide.
