Dew point at this time of year is normally between 13 -16 degrees. Temp was higher than that for that game.
Yer, this dew on the ground is a perception driven mainly by the media, I've been to 3 finals at the Gabba this month and it isn't an issue, any fumbling I've seen is from pressure on the man and ball.

Pretty sure there was a bit of dew around last week at Metricon tho (not sure about Gabba) - the boundary riders mentioned it. You could see it on the players and ball. You could also see it how they bounced the ball or when the ball landed from a kick - it would skid rather than stick

Libba was more ECW they liked the blood more, if you cleaned underneath Tony's fingernails you could clone a pretty decent midfield.
Yeah, crazy little guy. fought and scratched like a wild animal. which he was- lets be honest.
Lots of people carry on about Cotchin and Lynch and turned a blind eye with their own clubs.
The media are on us flat out, Richmond are coping it silly -
How many shows on how to stop Richmond have there been lately?
How many have there been on how to stop port Adelaide who have been on top of the ladder all year?

Richmond have stumbled, cracked, cried, and fought their way to where they are now - against the odds.
Half of Tiger supporters at mid year thought we wouldn't even make the eight!

If tigers win it will be an outstanding effort.

Outstanding effort for last year's Premiers to beat last year's 10th placed team.

So outstanding we should have the trophy Renamed after Richmond I'd say.

Wow some may call that..... Brave

Think you will find it was Bruce that mentioned it and he wasn't even in the state. Would be interested to hear from someone actually at the game . I have only been to all of the Gabba finals. Definitely no dew at those games.

What? are you arguing for the sake of arguing with no logical point?

Take it easy with the outstanding effort mate. You are the reigning Premiers.

Next thing you'll compare Footballers to Veterans.

Not my fault you couldn't understand what I said.

Abbey Holmes was the boundary rider and I think she mentioned it but shes not the greatest at keeping up with the ground conditions in general - she mentioned there was no real wind advantage at the start of the game - even though it was pretty clear there was a 2-3 wind advantage to one end. It was only after Savage kicked a goal from 70m out she said there was a slight wind to that end

Whether dew or humidity or something else, there were plenty of dropped marks and players slipping over last Friday night. The third quarter in particular was frustrating to watch.

The St. Kilda game was nauseating, every time I put on the radio, there was talk on how to beat us,that stuff actually helps our club, fires us up more.

I honestly think the two teams that have had the week off will win this week. I also think that the hub life will finally catch up with the Tigers and Cats. Port and the Lions have been able to have a relatively normal season (sleeping in own house) and that is a massive advantage this year. This is also being played at AO.

I still don't think the Tigers are in their best form and with this being played at AO it might just be a bridge too far for the Tigers in 2020.

So, with all that said, I am going with Port by 25 points.

Okay Richmond, you will be forgiven 65% for 2017 if you knock these guys out Friday night. Thanks in advance
We will do our best I’m sure.
Is the general feeling around crows fans that they’d prefer a tiger victory this week? Or is their still lingering hatred from 2017 that they’d prefer a port win?

I think you would find most crows supporters understand we got beaten by a great Richmond team/game style that has proven to be very tough to beat for 4 years. No shame in losing to the best team in the last 4 years.

Seeing Port even make a grand final is something we will hate

Only if you weren't raging favourites and had seat 1b on the return flight home booked for a player instead of the cup.
