Cannot see more than 25k turning up for this (I won’t be going either, harder to attend games on work nights). Don’t see how we’ll get within 10 goals of the premiers unless the dees have a serious off-night or mistake the starting time by 30 minutes.

Err… We’ll be 30 minutes early.

Go support your team Power!
I expect a big turnaround from Port Adelaide with their first win of the year.
Should get up by two goals and one can of cone zero.
Dees defence very green and a few players down on form, sadly.

Port tends to thrive on low expectations and rise to the occasion. This time, I don't see it. Something is broken and rattling inside this team that won't be put right with a speech or by rearranging pieces on the chessboard. I suspect that it's going to be a long year. Hopefully Marshall can put in another credible performance.

Despite the results in the Prelim and GF Melbourne doesn't tend to blow teams away so I expect this to be relatively close. Will be interesting to see how Port respond, will they fight to keep their season alive or are they mentally shot and Hinkley has lost the players? We'll know in the first couple of minutes how this one plays out I think.

Yes pretty much this. Melbourne just does enough, which is a little frustrating. But the issues Port has shown over the last couple of weeks I don't think can be turned around within a week. And some issues they have had for years like entries into the forward 50 (at least from the limited amount of times I have been watching them).

Port will bring the effort though but Melbourne by 15 points.

Well we only sealed wins against Essendon and Gold Coast in the last 5 mins, so we're not setting the world on fire.

Dees should win this comfortably so I fully expect them to turn up and inexplicably shit the bed like they did in 2021 a 9-0 Demons didn't turn up to play in Adelaide.

And the win to be biggest pile of wall paper over the gaping chasms of Hinkley's gameplan.
