We still haven't turned up to our last grand final, will enjoy the week, back us in but suspect the odds may even before the game.

Lions an impressive side, will be tough, also never out of the game clearly

Hoping for Brisbane to steal it.
Sydney’s to lose though.
Lions were battered tonight more than my local fish & chip shop.

Would have preferred the cats. Lions have a great record against us and a very dynamic forward line.

Need to completely dominate the midfield and limit their supply to make a game of it. If they get more than 45 inside 50s it'll be hard to stop them. How Grundy goes against their replacement ruck (probably Fort) and Daniher will have a big say on how the game goes.

Gotta go with Sydney just because of the freshness factor. Harris Andrews might end up with the Norm Smith though.

I think Sydney by 14 points. Probably be barracking for Brisbane, but would also be happy to see Sydney win it.

Sydney has been making the Grand Final regularl over the years, but falling short so would be happy to see them win it on that account, Brisbane on the other hand lost in a very tight game last year and may have actually won it if not for one poor umpiring decision.

One
Two teams with rich Victorian history
One could argue there has never been a 'truly interstate' GF with Swans & Lions Victorian heritage.
The other Interstate GF's have been: Bris Lions V Port, Sydney Swans v WCE x 2
Dreading the day it's West Coast v Adel or Giants v Suns (shudder)

Love that the Lions got there but unfortunately for them I think Sydney win it by 4-5 goals.

It’s extremely hard to win from 5th, they might be gassed.

Is this like when New Zealand suddenly has a good sportsperson or actor and we try and claim them through some tenuous link?
