Is there a mentally weaker side than the post covid era Brisbane Lions?
I swear they've dropped some real shockers over the years.
Fancy Carlton supporters getting all cocky and arrogant after one decent season.Fancy a St.Kilda supporter getting all gobby about the virtues of a one-point victory.

I would have thought 20 years of being terrible would teach blues fans some humility. I guess not. Shame really.
Really like Boyd down there. Seems level headed. McGovern playing like his older brother. Need small forwards. Which is seems strange to say because they have a heap of them.Simply adjusting to having no Weitering down there. Young and Kemp are athletic but not the smartest players in general.
Not too worried about it if he makes a clean return from his calf and stays healthy.
We don't have any genuine goal kicking smalls is the issue. Fogarty and Cuningham do enough up the ground in transition but nobody to crumb at the feet of Curnow and MckayReally like Boyd down there. A humongous effort by TDK in the ruck pretty much all night. No Motlop, Martin or Marchy either.Massive win with no Walsh or Jacob.
He will. And at the same time he will be making sure they don't give up a 7 goal lead. Even Voss knows that will bite his side on the backside. No he will be going " Well done boys, you were on the ropes and you showed great courage, fought back and won the game "
They've won what, 26 games in a row there? They were full strength too, or close to.They won by a single point. It could of very easily been a loss given the ball was in Brisbane's F50 late.
I very much doubt Carlton coaching and playing group would be happy being 7 goals down and having to work thier way back into the game to begin with.

All AFL coaches would have the exact same thinking. They would all be going "We let them put 7 on us early. How do we prevent that"
There is nothing cocky about us at all, we are enjoying our away win tonight as it proves for once and all that we are a genuine premiership contender now.
You know what I mean when I start talking about premierships ................ oops sorry, no you don't.
When you bring up premierships you know you've lost the argument.16 > 1
now piss off and let us celebrate our best round 0 win ever
more like youve lostWhen you bring up premierships you know you've lost the argument.

One of the best comebacks I have seen. Reminded me of us winning at Kardinia Park against the Cats after being down by 54 points. That 3rd quarter was sensational by the Blues.
Chin up, a little tickle under the arms and you'll be right as rain again.haha rolled the dice. not the only one. What happened the other night? I don't recall being wrong about anything else?
Have a Bex and a lie down mate. Any club's supporters would be celebrating that win, and it's been a bloody long time since we won at the Gabba.Fancy Carlton supporters getting all cocky and arrogant after one decent season.

Yeah and a few missing too from their best squad. To come back against a flag favorite on their home ground is a serious effort.
Unless they are saint … and thenOf course any club would. At the same time after it all dies down they would prefer to win by more than a point.
