Carlton dominated play for a while there but didn’t capitalise. Richmond very unlucky with some of the umpiring calls and the injuries.

Got to respect that effort from Richmond.

Game they were expected to lose (I tipped 'Carlton by a lot'), 3 players down, on a 5 day break from a hot/muggy GC game, and still kept it to under a goal.

Lacked a bit of class/finish at times, but you'd have to think they still would have won if they'd had more legs.

Not sure what the game says about Carlton though. Under the circumstances you would have expected them to win comfortably, so while they should be happy with the 4 points, it's likely they'll be looking to learn a lot from this game going forward.
