Rubbish. The fightback to that point was pretty immense, team morale was high and some excitement amongst the players was well called for imo. To turn it into some sort of arrogant delusion is just wrong.

Yeah, 18.13(b) is obviously talking about one teammate in general play just handing the ball to another teammate. Ie akin to a throw.

So as others have said, it’s more a general time wasting free. Which is not what Nicholls was saying - Nicholls said that it was a free to hand the ball to a teammate rather than straight back to the umpire - which is not true.

And then said "can they pull off another miracle?" at the end. It was Freo attempting to pull off the miracle. You can have close games praised if you make the comeback or it's back and forth all game. But not when you leave the door open for the opposition to snatch it.
