Any team can win if they bring pressue.

Look at Collingwood pressure difference between rd 0 & rd 1.
Also Curnow is a big IN.
He usually makes a big difference to their line-up because he can get up ground and is pretty good 1on1.
Not sure Battle or Barass can take him, might have to be a Sicily job.

The good thing about Carlton embarrassing itself in rd 1 against the Tigers is that they only have to wait a week to do it all again. This is why I love footy.

Carlton will be better. Because they couldn't be worse than the last 2.5 qtrs last week. I hope Cripps doesn't ruck. At all. Curnow / McKay / Weitering will all have to do well, and hold their positions. That will make it interesting. Then the whole Carlton team will have to raise their pressure rating for most of the game. That will give them a shot.

So, there's a chance of a competitive game and a Blues win if all these things occur. As the probabilities multiply for each one it becomes less likely though.

Hawks have 2 nice wins on the board. Nothing special though. The media has been in an ejaculative frenzy about them. I'm covered in this sticky foamy sheen, yuck. But Swans have a soft underbelly and Bombers are developing but incomplete, and were underdone week2 r1. If they have been drinking their own bathwater, that could be another positive Blues sign.

I'm thinking a surprise result. Blues by less than a goal. Antonio's Liparian Seafood Cafe and Giovanni's Square Pizza by the Metre will again be open and offering large discounts during the week.

Battle will take him.

Barrass on McKay

Sicily floats

Jiath/Impey/Amon/Weddle.

Weddle can also take Curnow or McKay as a rotational.
