i agree, for some reason the pies play to their maximum potential when playing us.

Well i wanted to play the pies in the qualifying final as i wanted to beat them but if for some reason we lost it wouldn't be major. Playing them in the prelim i still want to win just to shove it up the pies supporters but if in that small chance we lose and they keep us out of the GF i will never live it down.

Meh, the crows may have been easier (we only just beat them at KP), but all along I've been of the opinion that we would be playing the pies. We have a habit of beating them when it counts.

with the exception of the GF, all our loses have come at night in the last 2 years.... (yes i am including the Saints game as it was twilight and under a closed roof with lights on)....

I wasn't really that concerned who won. I would have prefered Adelaide so we could have played on Saturday afternoon, but I reckon we can beat the pies.

I am always a little worried playing against Friday at the G in a night game.

Looks like we will be playing next Saturday during the day. How confident is everyone going in? Personally, I tend to think Adelaide is a poor man's Geelong. I think a fast free flowing game will definately suit us.

Crows in good form though. Will be a ripper.

in terms of the game tonight, the only reason the Pies got in is due to the Crows poor disposal. They couldn't win their own ball, they just kept having the opportunity to capitalise on Crows errors. So as long as we keep our composure and have our usual high standard of skills, we should be a good chance. If we panic and turn it over or kick to contests over and over like the Crows did tonight, we may struggle.
