Well, Curtin played midfield late in the season and he was pick 8 let alone a pick 4.

For everyone saying our start killed us think back to our draw with Brisbane early in the season. We were basically on equal points, and it was seen as ‘an elimination final’. The draw was seen as being bad for both teams and each team’s season effectively over.
We ended up bottom 4 and Brisbane are playing off in the grand final.
Should tell you about the grit of the two different teams.

Amazing stuff. Especially since someone declared after week 1 that Brisbane couldn't make the grand final! Ha ha ha ha.
Gotta feel for GWS. Should have beaten both these teams.

Since I don't look for media bias to provide some false affirmation of my own opinion I'm happy for Hinkley to keep escaping media scrutiny.
Hinkley's Ghetto Father routine might work during the week but it bit him on the arse selecting and then not subbing cooked players like Dixon and Boak.

It is even worse than that - after the draw we were 12th (ended up 15th) and them 13th (they end up 5th and now in a GF).
What do the cheerleaders on here have to say about that?

They now have self belief.
I was saying to Geelong supporters at the game at 3/4 time
- 1) Geelong had a soft lead into the game - us, Freo, St Kilda (that should have rung alarm bells), West Coast and Port Adelaide
- 2) Brisbane were match hardened and been there before
- 3) given they only just lost the GF against Collingwood last year they had no qualms about the G. If you can get within a whisker of beating the Pies at the G in a GF, you are bloody good.

And looking at the Reserves side, he's right.
They get SPP back next year which will mean they don't have to pick McEntee or Evans, that'll improve them.... but not enough.

Cornes was equally critical of Zerk-Thatcher, who has requested a trade to Port Adelaide, saying the 25-year-old is a player who "has goals kicked on him for fun".
"All of a sudden, Essendon love him, there's a three-year deal there for him," he said.
"Port Adelaide loves him … He's going to be a good SANFL player if all goes to plan.

That doesn’t sound very complimentary all.
Actually you couldn’t get much more of a negative angle than “kicked goals on him for fun and good sanfl player”
