Dissapointed to see Reidy injured but happy with the changes.
Krakouer will be back for the Carlton game.

we line up like this:

B - Williams Brown Sinclair
HB - Shaw Maxwell Russell
C - O'Brien Swan J.Thomas
HF - Macaffer Lynch Sidebottom
F - Elliott Cloke Blair
R - Hudson Ball Pendlebury
INT - Kennedy Martin Seedsman
SUB - Dwyer

Decent team really despite our injuries. We are going to be a little light in the backline this week however.

That game was played in Darwin in incredible humidity. The only won by 9 pts and we were finishing fast. The conditions were not even close to typical, and the fact they won that won that one doesn't mean much.
Our record in close games is second to none over the last 3 years. If you're going to win you're going to have to put the foot down at some point.

Last year we were involved in five games decided by two goals or less, and won all of them.

yeah where hoping for a blues win, so either way it will be a win win situation, blues win, we are a chance for top 4, blues lose-weekend made

If West Coast won last night it would have been perfect, Bombers out of top 4, Carlton out of the 8

The boys just came through Adelaide airport. Marty Clarke must be the traveling emg cause he was here.

Even though Port beat Sydney last week, you guys should still beat Port comfortably. Good luck!

Not convinced with the Russell inclusion.

Also would have preferred Witts to get the game time over Hudson.

Got some players gearing up to come back in the next fortnight with Reid, Jolly, Sack, Young, Krak, Beams etc.

I don't.

Remember back to when we had Wood. Wood was the only player on the list who didn't need to fight for his spot. He had no chance (or perhaps he gave up) ever getting a game ahead of Jolly. But if Jolly was out then Wood got a game by default.

That was unhealthy, and Wood's form clearly reflected that.

Now in 2013, it's great that Witts isn't starting his career by being gifted games by default.

Really? Based on? Can't be anything we've seen from us this year.

Despite their numerous contested ball winning midfielders, Sydney aren't a great wet weather side.

I thought Port would make a game of it last week and the result doesn't drastically change my opinion of them. Anyone saying that we won't beat Port this week because they beat Sydney last week in completely different conditions is being simplistic.
