Well He has played his Best Footy at VFL Level as the Sole Ruckman. Unless you Bring in someone like Gault who can play the 2nd Ruck Spot
Grundy, Martin, Brown and Broomhead to come in, with Witts, Mooney, Sidebottom and 'Keefe(needs more time in the VFL) out.

The difference between VFL and AFL is pretty damn high.
Even Hine said that he'd start his career as a forward/2nd ruck like Witts

I agree with That. Big Difference between VFL and AFL Espically with Ruckman. But the last 2 games he played again Lowden,Grimley.Vardy and West who have all played in the AFL and He has Beaten all of them pretty much as the Lone Ruckman in the VFL side
So u want to risk our only fwd option getting injured in the ruck?
Well Sideys disposal has been woeful, and last night he was a passenger. I think he's had about 2 really good games in the past 2 months. The rest have been ordinary. This is a wakeup call dropping because he's a lot better than he's playing right now!
Keefey l admit can stay in the side, allows Reid to play forward. Just thought he looked spent early in the GC game.

He played very well against Vardy and West last night in the Rain. Brogan is about Finished and Giles is a Good Ruckman but would not be much better then Vardy

Buckley needs to make some big changes this week
I am SICK to death of him declaring their will be "sweeping changes" only to drop first year players.
Maxwell and Sidebottom must not play. List them as rested or injured but we CANNOT keep gifting games based on reputation. It's hurting the club.
Hawthorn dropped Sewell - twice the player that either Maxwell or Sidebottom are and who was once considered untouchable. But his form didn't warrant selection and Clarkson made a statement for the benefit of the team.
Until some of the senior players get put into line, we are going nowhere.

Giles not much better than Vardy? a guy who is coming back from injury and played about 4 games this year?! Brogan is also a far better player than West, regardless of being 'about' finished, experience, strength and size all in his favour.

Krakouer just had an off game. Before this game he has been pretty good so far this season. I wouldn't drop him just yet. You can't drop players after one bad game or else there will be changes every week etc. Last week everyone loved him, now this week most of you hate him?
I say give him another week. He had an off game, he wasn't sighted and non existent - which is a shame and not really good enough. A lot of players had an off game against Gold Coast. Another way of looking at it is that small forwards will drift in and out of games throughout the year.
Just my thoughts of course and you can all abuse me for it. But hey what do I know. He's only my cousin.......
